Every Legacy Images session is thoughtfully designed to feel seamless, guided, and elevated from start to finish. Below is what you can expect when working with us.
What is a studio session?
A studio session takes place in a controlled indoor environment using professional lighting and curated backdrops. Studio sessions provide a clean, timeless look and consistent lighting.
Are studio sessions included in all packages?
Yes. Studio sessions are included in all portrait packages at no additional cost.
What backgrounds are available in the studio?
A selection of neutral, seasonal, and classic backdrops is available. Background changes are allowed within your session time and may vary based on your package and session length.
Are outdoor sessions available?
Yes. Outdoor sessions are included with the Distinction Graduate Package and available as an upgrade for other packages.

When should I book my graduation session?
Graduation sessions should be booked 2 weeks in advance, especially during peak graduation season. Availability is limited and sessions are scheduled on a first-come basis.
Should I bring my cap and gown?
Yes. Clients are responsible for bringing their own cap, gown, cords, stoles, medals, or any graduation-related accessories they would like photographed.
Can I bring props?
Yes. Props such as graduation signs, champagne bottles (non-alcoholic if required by location), books, flowers, or personal items are welcome.
How does the image selection process work?
After your session, you will receive an online gallery. With your photographer you will select your favorite portraits based on the number included in your package.
When will I receive my proofing gallery?
Proofing galleries are delivered SAME DAY after your session.
Can I reschedule my session?
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability.
Are refunds available?
All retainers are non-refundable. Please review booking terms carefully before securing your session.
How long will my canvases & portrait books take to arrive?
All products average 2 weeks for production & delivery.
